February 2012 - Our water birth was the most challenging, yet beautiful and empowering experience of my life! Kathrine really allowed and encouraged my husband to be my primary support person throughout labor. She had such a calm and confident demeanor, which was so reassuring to us as first time parents! The midwives all gave us wonderful prenatal care, spent ample time answering our many questions and encouraged me to come right in anytime I called with concerns.

Katherine's role in our birth was essential for it to be an empowering experience. We are so grateful for her presence at the birth of our daughter. She and her team at North Metro Midwives are the most outstanding care-givers, experts and professionals we've known. I wish every woman
could have the experience we did with this team for the birth of their child.

All of the midwives are practical, hands-on and easy to be around. I even started with them fairly late in the game after not being pleased with my OB doc, around 34 weeks, but had a great last 6 weeks. We feel happy we didn't settle for a typical experience. I felt listened to, heard and part of the process.
